Luvo (WL 8.56m) coming to Taipei
LUVO MANYONGA won men’s Long Jump with his seasonal best 8.56m in Shanghai Diamond League on 12th May evening, this performance also made him world leading in 2018 by far. Luvo is expected to arrive Taipei on 23rd May with his coach and personal physiotherapist. Many Asian elites in men’s long jump event, including TPE athletes Hung-Min LIN, Chia-Hao LIN, Chiao-Heng TAI and Hua-Yu WEN. Hung-Min LIN and Chia-Hao LIN are expected to represent TPE in Jakarta Asian Games in August. Hua-Yu WEN is will represent TPE in Gifu Asian Junior Championships and Bangkok Asian Qualification meet for Youth Olympic Games. Taiwan Athletics Open will be the last chance for TPE athletes to fight for a spot in Chinese Taipei Team for Jakarta Asian Games (best two).
