City Vaccination Booking System to Accept Registrations May 3 – 4 (10th Round)
The Department of Health (DOH) announced that a total of 100,000 slots will be available during the tenth round of the vaccination drive. Registration will be accepted between 9 AM and 5 PM on May 3 and May 4 via the Taipei City Vaccination Booking System.
Those eligible for making appointments include: (1) Youth between 12 and 17 years old who are taking their first or second shot, and (2) Individuals 18 years old or above who plan to take either the first, second, or booster (third) shot.
A confirmation notice will be dispatched on May 5. Vaccination will be performed between May 9 and May 15.
In addition, a total of 34 local hospitals offer vaccination outpatient service with openings for over 20,000 individuals. To register, please utilize the booking system of the respective hospitals.
Considering that not all people are able to register online, DOH will also accept walk-ins at the mid-sized vaccination stations at Taipei Railway Station and MRT Songshan Station. However, the openings for walk-in registration is limited due to availability of vaccine and the small number of on-site medical staff.
Given the rapid rise of domestic COVID-19 cases, DOH calls upon residents to get vaccinated as a way of lowering the chances of hospitalization and death. For those who have questions regarding the booking system, please call the 1999 Citizens’ Hotline (ext. 1801 or 1807).
