Secret of Carrying Well with Painting: Taipei’s Gorgeous Manhole Covers
Gorgeous manhole covers will gradually turn dull and dirty after installation due to weathering, sunshine, and rainfall. What should be done to remedy the darkened surface of those manhole covers? The Taipei Hydraulic Engineering Office (THEO) cleans the dirt of all 128 painted manhole covers in Taipei City with pressure washer guns at planned intervals for paintings to regain their original beauty so as to make them look pleasant to citizens. No matter how hard we try, some dirt and stains are still difficult to remove. Therefore, please keep those beautiful gorgeous painted manhole covers clean.
