The Taipei International Dragon Boat Championships is one of the most iconic and international events in Taiwan. Last year, it was held at a smaller scale because of the pandemic. With the COVID-19 pandemic in Taiwan now gradually slowing down, the Department of Sports is inviting schools, organizations, companies, and individuals who love dragon boating to form teams and join in the competition. However, the Department of Sports will also be implementing the strict requirement that all training and competition activities must uphold epidemic prevention measures. The Department invites the public to cherish this opportunity to meet with dragon boat athletes in our annual midsummer event!
The 2021 Taipei International Dragon Boat Championships is scheduled to debut on the Dajia Section of the Keelung River in Taipei City, from June 12 to 14, 2021.
