The Taekwondo boom strikes again, presenting the strength and beauty from 11^th Nov. to 18^th.
11^th Taipei 2018 World Poomsae Championships will be held on 15^th Nov. to 18^th at the venue of University of Taipei, Tianmu Campus. The Championships welcome teams from 59 countries all over the world, 1265 athletes participating for the glory of victory. We sincerely invite all of you to join this world class Taekwondo gala.
    Taiwan has held many international Taekwondo events this year. Started from the World Taekwondo Grand Prix, along with the World Taekwondo President Cup Asian Region and the upcoming 2018 World championships, continuing the high morale and light up the flame. The championships is recognized by World Taekwondo as G8 Level, including Recognized and Freestyle. Different from the traditional Kyorugi, Poomsae is a combination of martial arts and Tai Chi elements, emphasizing the present of strength and beauty, along with the harmony of physical. Poomsae will for sure exhibit a distinct style of Taekwondo, turning the impression that people used to have as the sudden power of Kyorugi.
    Chinese Taipei had won impressive score as 1 gold 3 Silvers and 1 Bronze in 2017 Summer Universiade. The 2017 Universiade Female Individual Silver medalist LIN,KAN-YU, Pairs Gold medalist SU,JIA-EN, and LU,YI-ZHEN will be the representatives of the of Team Chinese Taipei for the Championships, challenging the titles once again. Also, LI,YING-XUAN will take part in the Recognized Poomsae Female Individual, athlete of the Asian Games Team Male MA,YUN-ZHONG will compete in the Recognized Poomsae Male Individual. All the high rankings national athletes are ready in the international-level competition, and welcome you all together to cheer for Chinese Taipei’s athletes.
